Risk disclosures

Equity Futures & Options (F&O)

As per a SEBI study: 9 out of 10 individual traders in the equity F&O segment incurred net losses. On average, loss-makers registered a net trading loss close to ₹50,000. Over and above the net trading losses incurred, loss-makers expended an additional 28% of net trading losses as transaction costs. Those making net trading profits incurred between 15% and 50% of such profits as transaction costs.

General: Investment in securities market is subject to market risks. Read all the related documents carefully before investing. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Derivatives are leveraged products and can result in losses exceeding your initial margin. The securities/products referenced on this site, if any, are for illustration only and are not recommendatory.

Attention investors

  • Stock brokers can accept securities as margin from clients only by way of pledge in the depository system w.e.f. September 1, 2020.
  • Update your mobile number & email ID with your broker/DP to receive OTPs and transaction alerts directly from the depository.
  • Check your securities / mutual funds / bonds in the monthly consolidated account statement issued by NSDL/CDSL.
  • KYC is a one-time exercise while dealing in securities markets — done once through a SEBI-registered intermediary, it need not be repeated.
  • No need to issue cheques while subscribing to an IPO — just write your bank account number and sign to authorise payment; money stays in your account until allotment.
  • Prevent unauthorised transactions — do not share your trading credentials or OTP with anyone, including our staff.
